NYE 2011 in HKI
New Years Eve was a blast… In Helsinki we occupied this huge abandoned warehouse near the ferry terminal in Jätkäsaari for a rave, “UV-UG”, with two floors, two sound systems: one for “techno” and one for “global bass”. I played two sets during the night in the latter one of course. It went on from the midnight til 7am and it was mad fun with homies Tuomenos and Dionysos. There was way too much echo in the room so the sound was far from good but it didn’t stop us…
I haven’t had time to make my “best tunes of the year” list, but in fact, I built my sets pretty much around these tunes that are at least somewhere among my many more favorites of the year:
